Awoke early, but slept in until 6.30am. Upright, I packed. My socks didn’t dry again! The theme of the trip.
Hilary had laid out breakfast, so we ate together and I set off at 8.30am. I had a few sights to visit on the way today, and I was happy to have a thin map collection in my little plastic pocket.
I left Corbigny by the D986 and stayed on it, dodging the chemin de terre but then ducking across through Cropigny and joining the route for a while after Charpuis. Through Anthien, Le Cehmin, and I met a Belgian pilgrim between Le Chemin and Vignes le Bas.
